Cuento para pensar / Story for think


Un sabio, cierta tarde, llegó a la ciudad de Akbar. La gente no dio mucha importancia a su presencia, y sus enseñanzas no consiguieron interesar a la población. Incluso después de algún tiempo llegó a ser motivo de risas y burlas de los habitantes de la ciudad.

Un día, mientras paseaba por la calle principal de Akbar, un grupo de hombres y mujeres empezó a insultarlo. En vez de fingir que los ignoraba, el sabio se acercó a ellos y los bendijo.

Uno de los hombres comentó:

"¿Es posible que, además, sea usted sordo? ¡Gritamos cosas horribles y usted nos responde con bellas palabras!".

"Cada uno de nosotros sólo puede ofrecer lo que tiene" -fue la respuesta del sabio.

A wise one afternoon, arrived to Akbar's city. People did not give much importance to his presence, and his teachings failed to interest the public. Even after some time he became cause of laughter and derision of the inhabitants of the city.

One day, while walking down the main street of Akbar, a group of men and women began to insult him. Instead of pretend ignore them, the wise approached them and blessed them.

One of the man said:

"Is it possible that, in addition, you are deaf? We shouted horrible things and you answer us with fine words".

"Each of us can only offer what we have," responded the wise.
